Description
Kargo is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to define and own technical direction across backend services and shared platform capabilities, translating ambiguous business needs into durable architecture and reliable execution for large-scale distributed systems. The role is hybrid with onsite presence four days per week, and it focuses on service design, cross-team technical leadership, operational excellence, and improving engineering effectiveness across teams. The position requires strong systems design and production experience with Go or a similar systems language, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, and observability/incident response practices.
