Kodiak Robotics is hiring a Staff Software Engineer to build and improve behavior planning and motion planning systems for autonomous driving. The role owns planning features end to end, including design, implementation, validation, deployment, analysis, debugging, and production-quality C++ development, while collaborating across autonomy teams and mentoring engineers. Candidates should have experience in behavior planning, motion planning, decision-making, robotics, autonomous vehicles, or related areas, along with strong software engineering and autonomy software experience. The position is based in Mountain View, California, with a base salary of $240,000–$265,000 USD and additional equity, bonuses, and benefits.
