Description
Merlin is hiring a Staff Software Engineer to lead the design, development, verification, and certification of flight-critical autonomy software for aerospace systems. The role focuses on model-based design with MATLAB, Simulink, Stateflow, and Embedded Coder; software architecture and requirements traceability under DO-178C and DO-331; CI/CD integration; and hardware-in-the-loop, processor-in-the-loop, and flight testing. The position is based onsite at Merlin’s headquarters in Boston, Massachusetts, and requires a relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree plus 10+ years of embedded or safety-critical software experience.
