Description
Peregrine is hiring a Staff Software Engineer to join its core engineering teams and lead impactful technical projects. The role combines people management and hands-on technical leadership, including developing high-performing teams, guiding engineers through complex challenges, and making technical decisions. The engineer will work with design and product management on scalable, user-centered systems, including real-time collaboration, high-scale backend architecture, and large-scale data ingestion. The technology stack includes Python, Django, Celery, Airflow, Kafka, React, Redux, Mapbox, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Bedrock, Sagemaker, AWS, Pulumi, Terraform, and Kubernetes. The position is based in Washington, D.C., with office work, and offers an annual salary of $200,000 to $275,000 USD plus benefits and equity.
