Description
Ping Identity is hiring a Staff Software Engineer, Backend to design, build, and operate secure and scalable backend services and APIs for its core product. The role focuses on event-driven and asynchronous systems using Kafka and queue-based platforms, AWS infrastructure, SQL and NoSQL databases, caching, observability, reliability, and production code quality. It also involves mentoring, technical guidance, and collaboration with Product, Data, Infrastructure/SRE, and Security teams. The position requires 10+ years of backend engineering experience, strong system and API design skills, and a degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
