PubMatic is hiring a Staff Software Engineer to architect and evolve its next-generation, highly scalable, low-latency AdServer for Connected TV. The role owns end-to-end technical direction across multiple teams, including distributed backend platforms, architectural standards, risk mitigation, technology research, cross-functional escalations, and mentorship of senior engineers. It requires 14+ years of C/C++ development experience in Linux/UNIX, extensive distributed-systems and systems-programming expertise, and strong communication and AI-enabled engineering skills. The position follows a hybrid schedule with three days in the office and two days working remotely, and includes healthcare insurance and broadband reimbursement.
