ServiceNow is hiring a Staff Engineer in HRSD to set technical direction for model-driven HR capabilities, including agentic and conversational experiences that interpret employee, manager, and HR-agent intent, reason over HR context, and act on behalf of users. The role owns AI architecture, autonomy boundaries, instruction and tool-description surfaces, evaluation infrastructure, production safety, and AI-assisted engineering standards, while partnering with product, engineering, and design. Candidates need 7+ years of software engineering experience, hands-on agentic and LLM experience, production migration experience, strong system-design and testing skills, and a bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. The role offers a base salary of $149,800–$262,200 plus equity, variable compensation, and benefits.
