SimSpace is hiring a Staff Engineer to lead the Range Against the Machine team, which builds reusable virtual-machine templates and standardized cyber ranges. The role combines hands-on technical leadership with architecture, networking, virtualization, automation, security, troubleshooting, documentation, standards, mentoring, and delegated ownership. Candidates need 6–8 years of experience and expertise in enterprise networking, Windows Server, Active Directory, Linux, Ansible, Packer, VMware, and related infrastructure or cybersecurity environments. The position offers a base salary of $185,000–$260,000 plus bonuses and comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits.
