Topstep is hiring a Staff Software Engineer to serve as a technical leader for its trading platform, focusing on designing and building cloud-native, high-throughput systems that support real-time trading, market data delivery, and brokerage integrations. The role is centered on modern .NET development with occasional React/TypeScript frontend work, and includes ownership of systems end to end, architectural decision-making, reliability improvements, on-call response, observability, and mentoring. The position is full-time with a salary range of $200,000 to $250,000 annually, eligible for bonus, and can be fully remote or hybrid.
