Description
Compass is hiring a Staff Software Engineer for its Transaction Journey organization to lead the design and development of a collaborative transaction management platform for residential real estate agents. The role owns platform architecture, data ingestion and normalization, complex full-stack projects, reliability and infrastructure improvements, AI and data pipeline integration, and the recruitment and mentorship of engineers. Candidates need a computer science or software engineering degree or equivalent practical experience, at least 10 years of experience with TypeScript, JavaScript, and HTML/CSS, 5+ years with React and NodeJS, 3+ years with AWS or cloud technologies, and a technical leadership record. The base pay range is $228,000–$240,000, with bonuses, restricted stock units, and medical, dental, and vision benefits.
