Description
Verily is hiring a full-time Software Engineer to build modular, composable, and interoperable platform components for precision health data storage and processing, as well as product framework components. The role involves designing and delivering software features, solving technical design problems, and using tools such as GitHub, Google Cloud, Go, Docker, and Terraform. Candidates need a relevant degree or equivalent practical experience, at least 10 years of software development experience, and expertise with cloud platforms and general-purpose programming languages; demonstrated experience with Go, Java, Python, SQL, Apache Beam, ETL, scalable data pipelines, and HL7 FHIR is preferred. The Canada base salary range is CAD 175,000–197,000 plus bonus, equity, and benefits, and the employer does not offer employment-based visa or work permit sponsorship.
