Versaterm is hiring a Staff Software Engineer specializing in mobile app development to provide strategic guidance and mentorship to Android engineers, lead the architecture of complex Android applications, and guide the team through concept through release. The role involves robotics and public-safety applications, REST and WebRTC integrations, offline-first capabilities, CI/CD, documentation, and collaboration with internal and external partners. Candidates need a relevant degree or equivalent experience, at least eight years of Android development experience including technical leadership, Kotlin and Jetpack expertise, reactive programming knowledge, and familiarity with Firebase and CI/CD tools. The position requires CJIS compliance, a fingerprint-based background check, and potentially additional security clearances.
