Fivetran is hiring a Staff Software Engineer, Backend for its Reverse ETL product engineering team. The role integrates data activation capabilities across authentication, billing, data models, UI, and other product areas; contributes to Ruby on Rails, TypeScript, Vue, and AWS; mentors engineers; performs code reviews; and leads major projects. The position is full-time and hybrid, based in Toronto or Oakland, with in-person work two days per week. It requires expertise in an interpreted language, a compiled language, relational databases, system integration, cloud providers, and on-call experience. The Oakland pay range is $196,033 to $245,041.50 USD, with employer-paid medical insurance and other benefits.
