Description

Intuit is hiring a backend-anchored Staff Software Engineer to own and evolve the Clickstream behavioral-data platform. The role leads architecture for high-volume event capture, distributed services, streaming pipelines, ingestion contracts, schemas, APIs, and data infrastructure used by hundreds of product teams. It also involves cross-functional technical leadership, design reviews, mentorship, pragmatic AI/LLM use, and ensuring platform performance, reliability, security, scalability, and data quality.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Required Previous Experiences: At least 8 years of experience building production software.
Deep backend expertise with demonstrated impact at platform or architecture scale.
Experience with high-volume event or analytics infrastructure, streaming systems, or clickstream/telemetry pipelines.
Experience influencing cross-functional stakeholders and driving progress without formal authority.
Preferred Qualifications: Cloud experience with AWS or Google Cloud Platform.
Mobile instrumentation experience with iOS, Android, or React Native.
Experience designing or owning SDKs, client libraries, or developer-facing platforms.
Experience with privacy, consent, and data governance in regulated environments.
Practical use of AI/LLM tools such as Claude or ChatGPT in engineering workflows.
