Scribd, Inc. is hiring a Staff Software Engineer for the Everand Core team to own and shape the backend platform supporting Everand’s web and mobile experiences. The role focuses on setting technical direction, architecture and design, reliability, observability, CI/CD, databases, queues, cost, and modernization of legacy systems. The engineer will lead cross-functional planning, mentor and pair with other engineers, and build scalable, resilient systems for discovery, personalization, and consumption.
