Description
ICEYE is hiring a Staff Software Engineer for its Commercial Platform in Espoo, Finland. The role owns the architecture and migration of several existing backend systems into one unified platform supporting customer discovery, ordering, receipt, and payment of SAR imagery and monitoring insights. Responsibilities include making architecture and data-model decisions, driving execution across engineering teams, delivering a first production milestone in the first quarter of 2027, migrating remaining live products without disrupting customers, setting technical standards, and applying AI-assisted engineering practices. The position is permanent, hybrid with three office days per week, and requires backend production engineering experience in Go or a similar language, PostgreSQL, event-driven architectures, cloud production experience, observability tooling, and experience leading large-scale architecture or migration initiatives.
