Description

Agiloft is hiring a Staff Software Engineer to own a critical domain of its contract lifecycle management platform. The role is a hands-on backend and distributed-systems engineering position with deep ownership of data models, AWS cloud architecture, API design, security, multi-tenancy, scalability, reliability, and end-to-end delivery. The engineer will also lead technical architecture across functional boundaries, mentor senior and mid-level engineers, and drive adoption of AI-assisted engineering practices.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or a comparable field
Required Previous Experiences: 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, including 2+ years at staff level
Leadership of architecture decisions across multiple teams
Driving technical outcomes across diverse stakeholders and functions
End-to-end ownership of significant initiatives, including release ownership
Building backend and cloud-based services in Python
Designing and operating scalable distributed systems on AWS
Data modeling and service architecture
Designing high-throughput data pipelines, asynchronous processing, or ML/inference services
Application security and multi-tenancy
Designing high-scale API contracts
Infrastructure as code and CI/CD
Observability in distributed systems
Integrating AI capabilities into engineering work and design
Preferred Qualifications: Building AI/ML product features and data pipelines
Integrating third-party SaaS platforms and connectors
Search and retrieval systems
Familiarity with CLM, contracts, or enterprise B2B platforms
