Description
Snowflake is hiring an AI Infrastructure Engineer to build and scale the search infrastructure powering its enterprise AI products. The role focuses on high-performance retrieval engines using vector search, hybrid search, and semantic indexing; agentic runtime orchestration; RAG infrastructure; evaluation and error-analysis pipelines; productionized multi-tenant AI microservices; and optimization of model routing, prompt caching, and token usage. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical field, at least nine years of experience building distributed systems, high-throughput APIs, or backend infrastructure for AI/ML products, and deep proficiency in Go or Java for systems and Python for AI orchestration.
