The role owns ingestion, transformation, storage, governance, secure and highly available data services, orchestration, reliability, standards, and developer experience across Zendesk’s data infrastructure. It requires 10+ years of software or data engineering experience, including 3+ years in platform engineering or data infrastructure, along with cloud, Terraform, CI/CD, Python, SQL, Docker, and data-pipeline experience. The role is hybrid, requiring attendance at the local office for part of the week.
