Coinbase is hiring a Staff Software Engineer for its Developer Infrastructure - Test team to define the technical direction and own core test infrastructure that helps engineers ship faster and with more reliable test signals. The role focuses on building and operating large-scale test systems such as orchestration, smart test selection, sharding, flaky-test detection, and result analysis, while partnering across engineering, improving SLOs and incident response, and mentoring engineers. The position is remote-first with quarterly in-person surge sessions and offers a base salary plus equity, bonus eligibility, and standard benefits.
