Alluxio is hiring a Staff Software Engineer - Distributed Systems to lead and evolve its distributed data services platform. The role focuses on scaling systems across thousands of nodes, improving memory and data-structure efficiency, thread concurrency, locking, caching, durability, and high availability, while contributing to product architecture and technical direction. The position seeks an experienced software engineer with technical leadership experience, a relevant degree or equivalent practical experience, and expertise in distributed, parallel, storage, or large-scale software systems, with Java, C/C++, or Go experience.
