Description
Intuitive is hiring an experienced Software Engineer to lead the emulation team and build, deploy, and support the internal da Vinci emulator and hybrid hardware-in-the-loop setups. The role involves emulating microcontrollers, sensors, FPGAs, and physics models; learning the evolving da Vinci software and firmware; advocating for simulation-first development; and supporting developers with feature requests, bug fixes, and system integration. Candidates need extensive complex-systems debugging experience, strong software engineering fundamentals, and experience with C++ and Python; CUDA, Linux, embedded software, Docker, and Git are preferred. The position requires a bachelor’s degree with 12 years of experience, a master’s degree with 8 years, or a PhD with 5 years, or equivalent experience.
