Hover is hiring a Staff Software Engineer to own the technical direction of Property Scope, a platform that converts property inspection data into scope, cost, and design recommendations for insurance claims and homeowner projects. The role will set architecture and engineering standards, design backend systems and customer-facing products, integrate with insurance and materials platforms, review code, support hiring, and work with adjusters and contractors. The position is full-time, hybrid, and based in San Francisco or New York City, with a US base salary of $237,000 to $295,000 annually.
