Vonage is hiring a Staff Software Engineer for its Fraud Prevention engineering team to lead the architecture and evolution of high-throughput, low-latency distributed systems that process millions of fraud detection events in real time. The role combines hands-on engineering with technical leadership, including architectural decision-making, performance optimization, roadmap planning, mentoring, engineering practice development, and production on-call participation. The primary technology stack is Java and Spring Boot with AWS, Kafka, Kubernetes, and related services; Python and Golang experience are a plus.
