Description
Snowflake is hiring a Staff Software Engineer for its Frontier Security AI team to lead the design and development of an Agentic Harness and agent evaluation platform. The role involves building multi-step AI workflows, tool-execution interfaces, agent quality evaluation systems, production observability, simulation and replay infrastructure, and secure multi-tenant services. The engineer will define technical direction across product, infrastructure, applied AI, security, and modeling teams, mentor engineers, and remain directly involved in implementation and debugging. The posting requires 9+ years of software engineering experience, production LLM or agent experience, distributed systems expertise, Python and a systems or application language, and a bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
