Description
Relativity Space is hiring a Staff Software Engineer to develop and own the backend software infrastructure for its Stargate autonomous additive manufacturing platform. The role connects robotics software, data platforms, machine learning, digital twins, edge hardware, ML inference systems, real-time monitoring, and visualization tools, while developing APIs, data services, frontend interfaces, and software deployed across edge and cloud environments. The engineer will collaborate with robotics, data, machine learning, and infrastructure teams and contribute to developer productivity and observability tooling. The position requires 10+ years of professional software engineering experience, production software experience, project ownership, database and pipeline knowledge, and collaboration with non-software stakeholders.
