Description
ServiceNow is hiring a Staff Software Engineer (IC4) for HR Service Delivery to design, build, ship, and operate AI-native capabilities across the employee lifecycle. The role focuses on agentic and conversational experiences that interpret intent, reason over HR data, invoke tools, and execute actions while maintaining accuracy, access controls, automated evaluation, safety, and reliability. The engineer owns AI design decisions, instruction and tool authoring, production integration, quality and observability, and the delivery of APIs, data models, front-end experiences, and integrations with HCM, payroll, benefits, identity, and knowledge systems. The position also mentors IC1–IC3 engineers and collaborates with product, design, HR, compliance, and engineering teams.
