Description
ServiceNow is hiring a staff software engineer (IC4) for its Telemetry Data Platform team. The role is distributed across Israel, India, and the Americas and is primarily infrastructure-focused, with responsibilities spanning distributed data streaming and processing, Kafka and ClickHouse pipelines, Kubernetes and DevOps, production observability, incident response, backend services and APIs, analytics interfaces, and AI agent telemetry. The engineer will own complex multi-service features, make technical decisions, and mentor engineers. The requisition requires at least 8 years of backend software engineering experience, 4 years designing and operating distributed systems, 3 years each with Kubernetes, Kafka or equivalent streaming pipelines, and on-call production ownership, plus a bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field.
