Description
Insitro is hiring a Staff Software Engineer for its Imaging Software team to define and expand computer vision and machine learning infrastructure across the imaging data lifecycle. The role builds platform capabilities, user tools, visualization interfaces, and production-grade image processing and ML pipelines; hardens workflows for millions of images per day; maintains data integrity, lineage, reproducibility, and observability; and partners with scientists and microscopy teams. The position is based in South San Francisco on an in-person hybrid schedule of three days per week and requires at least eight years of professional experience building production software and high-throughput data pipelines, primarily in Python.
