Okta is hiring a Java Senior Software Engineer for its Access Management Engineering Team to build secure authentication and authorization software. The role involves collaborating with QA, Product, Support, and UX teams; contributing to technical designs and architecture; developing maintainable software components with unit and functional tests; participating in code reviews; and sharing technical knowledge. Candidates need at least seven years of Java web application development experience, knowledge of design patterns, scalability, security engineering, and object-oriented principles, experience with continuous integration and deployment, and a bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or equivalent experience.
