Airwallex is hiring a Staff Software Engineer for its Singapore-based Lending Engineering team to architect, design, and implement large-scale, secure, and scalable systems for its embedded lending platform. The role focuses on credit-product services, secure APIs, distributed systems, reliability, automated testing, and engineering leadership, while mentoring engineers and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree or above in a relevant technical field, at least seven years of software engineering experience, two years of technical leadership, strong backend and API experience, and familiarity with distributed systems, cloud platforms, and observability tools.
