Discord is hiring a Staff Machine Learning Engineer for its Consumer Revenue ML team to build ranking, targeting, and recommendation systems across Shop, Nitro, Server Subscriptions, and Gifting. The role requires 8+ years of applied machine learning experience, deep expertise in deep learning and recommender systems, strong Python and ML-framework skills, experience building ML systems from 0 to 1, and familiarity with distributed training and large-scale data processing. The position is US-based and can be remote, with Bay Area candidates welcome to work from the San Francisco office; the base salary is $272,000 to $340,000 plus equity and benefits.
