Description
Lambda is hiring a Staff Engineer to lead the development of its Managed Kubernetes platform for AI workloads, including control-plane scalability, multi-tenancy, GPU-aware orchestration, managed Slurm, inference services, self-healing systems, chaos engineering, and operational excellence. The role requires 10+ years of software, platform, or SRE experience, at least 5 years focused on Kubernetes at scale, strong Go and Python skills, and expertise across distributed systems, networking, storage, security, and managed services. The position is based in San Francisco, San Jose, or Bellevue, with four days per week in the office and Tuesday as the designated work-from-home day.
