Description
Fivetran and dbt Labs are hiring a Staff Software Engineer for the Metadata team to lead the architecture and delivery of complex metadata services, including the discovery API, catalog, lineage, and run history. The role owns subsystems end to end, sets technical direction, reviews designs, coaches engineers, improves code quality and reliability, and participates in on-call rotation. It is a full-time remote position with occasional travel to the Denver, California office, requiring 8+ years of software engineering experience and expertise in distributed cloud systems, Python, GraphQL, Postgres, Snowflake, Kafka, Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, GCP, and related technologies. The Denver pay range is $183,711 to $229,638.75 USD.
