Stack is hiring a Staff Machine Learning Platform Engineer to design and develop a high-performance, multi-tenant AI training platform for autonomous vehicle development. The role combines hands-on coding with long-term technical direction across ML platform, infrastructure, autonomy, and safety evaluation teams, covering model pipelines, orchestration, training abstractions, observability, performance tuning, and tooling for machine learning engineers. Candidates need a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field, at least six years of experience with machine learning platforms, strong Python or C++ skills, and experience with technologies such as Lance, PyTorch, or Ray Data.
