Okta is hiring a Staff Software Engineer for its new Core Frontier team in Bengaluru. The role leads the design, delivery, security, reliability, scalability, and architectural quality of Auth0’s identity platform features, including authentication pipelines, identity protocols, user sessions, and cross-app access. The engineer will work primarily with Node.js, TypeScript or JavaScript, and distributed systems across MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Redis, AWS, and Azure, while mentoring engineers and participating in on-call rotation. The position requires 8+ years of professional software development experience and offers a hybrid work arrangement.
