Headway is hiring a Staff Engineer for its Payers & Outcomes group to build and scale intelligent systems that review clinical documentation, detect inappropriate billing and low-quality care, measure clinical quality, match patients to providers, and evaluate trustworthy AI in healthcare. The role combines end-to-end product building, API and frontend architecture, backend logic, and engineering leadership across a growing team, with work based in New York City, San Francisco, or Seattle and no onsite requirement.
