Cohere Health is hiring a Staff Software Engineer for its Payment Solutions team to lead the design, development, scaling, and operational support of highly available AI-powered healthcare and payment integrity products. The role combines hands-on full-stack engineering, cloud-native distributed systems, data and retrieval architecture for AI workloads, security and compliance, observability, production operations, and technical leadership of an agile engineering team. It is remote-first with approximately 5% travel and possible travel to Boston for onboarding and meetings, and requires 12+ years of software development lifecycle experience plus a relevant bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
