Description
Peregrine Technologies is hiring a Staff Software Engineer for its Platform team in San Francisco to lead technical strategy for scaling cloud infrastructure. The role focuses on improving performance, reliability, security, and cost efficiency across the platform while enabling other engineers through better tooling, documentation, and self-service capabilities. The engineer will partner with product and traffic engineering teams, mentor others, and help shape routing, load balancing, autoscaling, and cloud operations at scale. The position requires substantial experience with cloud infrastructure, container orchestration, infrastructure-as-code, and security/compliance in production environments.
