Description
Cake is hiring a Staff Software Engineer to lead the design, operation, and improvement of enterprise-scale AI/ML platform infrastructure. The role owns distributed systems, cloud environments, Kubernetes-native controllers and operators, networking, security, observability, reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency, while creating tooling for customers and internal teams. It requires 10+ years of engineering experience, deep production Kubernetes and cloud experience, infrastructure-as-code expertise, backend programming ability, and strong customer-facing communication.
