Intuit is hiring a Staff Software Engineer for its PDX Observability Engineering team to design and deliver a high-scale, highly available observability platform. The role focuses on workflow insights, distributed tracing, Real User Monitoring, agentic solutions, and large-scale data processing, while also contributing to cloud architecture, technical specifications, product direction, mentoring, and code reviews. Candidates need at least eight years of experience with distributed systems or AI applications, strong observability and cloud experience, proficiency in languages such as Java or Python, and experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Kafka, and related data technologies.
