GovTech is hiring a Senior Data & Platform Engineer to lead the build-out of the National Environment Agency’s Weather Data Lake on Databricks within the Government Commercial Cloud Azure stack. The role owns the data platform architecture, production pipelines, data quality, infrastructure as code, governance, integration contracts, and historical data migration, while mentoring junior engineers and partnering with Meteorological Service Singapore. The position requires extensive experience in data and platform engineering, Databricks, Azure, Terraform, Python, SQL, Spark, and data governance, with a strong preference for GCC 2.0 or equivalent regulated cloud experience.
