Description
Snowflake is hiring Senior Postgres Engineers to help build a large-scale, multi-cloud Postgres service. The role involves developing the orchestration and control-plane for large databases, working with AWS, Azure, and GCP APIs, building high availability and disaster recovery solutions, tuning Postgres for massive datasets, securing customer data, and contributing across distributed systems and low-level performance optimizations. Candidates should have at least seven years of experience designing and developing large-scale production systems, distributed and highly available services, operating systems concepts, computer science fundamentals, Java, Python/Ruby, and Go, along with experience maintaining large Postgres servers and working with geographically distributed teams.
