Qualcomm Canada ULC is hiring a Staff Software Engineer – Qualcomm AI Runtime to design and develop high-performance C++17 software for the Qualcomm AI Runtime SDK. The role focuses on optimizing GenAI and Agentic AI model execution on Qualcomm Hexagon DSP systems, leading SDK feature development, analyzing system and model deployment designs, using embedded cross-compiler toolchains, and contributing to software quality. The position requires a bachelor's degree and 4+ years of relevant hardware, software, systems, or related engineering experience, or equivalent master's and PhD alternatives, along with experience in C++, embedded systems, Hexagon DSPs, machine learning operations, and cross-functional collaboration.
