Description
Stripe is hiring a Staff Data Engineer for its Product and Risk Data Engineering team. The role leads technical outcomes and mentors engineers, partners with recruiting, builds reliable and scalable data pipelines, manages data quality and SLAs, develops canonical datasets and data warehouses, and leverages AI/LLM and agents. It requires 10+ years of experience building and operating data systems, distributed data pipeline experience, backend language knowledge, strong SQL skills, and strong cross-functional collaboration. Preferred qualifications include experience with Iceberg, Kafka, Spark, Airflow, AWS, and other data-platform tools.
