Description
Checkr is hiring a Staff Engineer for its Screenings & Verifications organization to own product development, define technical architecture for complex multi-system workflows, lead scalable backend and API initiatives, address technical debt, mentor engineers, and ensure service quality and reliability. The role requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience, 10+ years of software development experience, 3+ years in project leadership, and expertise in backend development with frontend and API skills. The role is based in Denver, San Francisco, Nashville, or Santiago, with an expectation of working from the office at least three days per week.
