Harmonic is hiring a senior engineering leader to architect and lead the core intelligence behind Scout, its AI-powered startup sourcing platform. The role owns the end-to-end architecture of data ingestion, retrieval, reranking, personalization, and LLM-driven evaluation; leads agentic experimentation and evaluation; shapes AI-native product experiences; and provides architectural leadership across engineering. Candidates need 7–8+ years of experience building distributed systems or large-scale backend architecture, with expertise in search, recommendation, or ranking systems, production ML or LLM integrations, technical leadership, and data-intensive or event-driven architectures.
