Canopy is hiring a Staff Software Engineer to build and scale a next-generation sensing data pipeline spanning firmware, edge algorithms, hardware bring-up, cloud services, and frontend systems. The role requires deep proficiency in Rust, C, C++, Python, RTOS, and embedded Linux, along with experience in deterministic, timing-sensitive firmware and hardware/software debugging. The engineer will collaborate with hardware and software teams to develop production-grade sensing devices for healthcare environments, with a base salary of $200,000 to $225,000 per year.
