Description

d-Matrix is hiring a Staff Software Engineer, SIMD Kernels to help productize software for its AI compute engine. The role develops, enhances, and maintains software kernels for machine-learning operators such as softmax, layer normalization, and activation functions; builds developer-friendly SDK solutions; and analyzes performance. Candidates need a master’s or doctoral degree in a relevant field, at least five years of industry experience, strong computer-architecture and machine-learning knowledge, and experience implementing algorithms and ML operators on specialized hardware using C/C++, Python, CUDA, and related technologies.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Master’s or PhD in computer engineering, mathematics, physics, or a related field
Required Previous Experiences: At least 5 years of industry experience
Experience implementing algorithms in C/C++ and Python
Experience implementing algorithms for specialized hardware using CUDA and related libraries
Experience implementing machine-learning operators such as GEMMs, convolutions, softmax, layer normalization, and pooling
Preferred Qualifications: Prior startup, small-team, or incubation experience
Experience with TensorFlow or PyTorch
Experience with ML compilers and algorithms such as MLIR, LLVM, TVM, or Glow
Experience with deep-learning frameworks and models for computer vision, natural language processing, or recommendation systems
