Snap Inc. is hiring an L6 Staff Technical Lead to define the strategy and technical direction for its Storage, Caching, and Identity infrastructure. The role leads multi-quarter and multi-year initiatives, designs and operates highly available distributed systems across AWS and GCP, improves reliability, performance, cost efficiency, and developer experience, and mentors engineers across infrastructure and product teams. Candidates need extensive backend or distributed-systems experience, strong technical leadership and system-design skills, and a bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience; the role requires working in an office at least four days per week.
